Spanish Navy Harrier Air Refueling from US Marine KC-130J

The aircraft come from Morón Air Base, about 55 km southern Seville, Spain. Morón Air Base has an important role in Mediterranean and Iberian peninsula, they have huge runway and suitable for military operations. This air base has been vital link for military operation especially for United States troops.

While, Spanish Navy is one of the primary operator of Boeing AV-8B Harrier. The Harrier have been operating since 1987, currently Spanish military has twenty Harriers. Half of them have been modified into modernization effort, at the result the jet fighter able to carry heavy weapons such AIM-120 AMRAAMs. The AV-8B Harrier has special capability in short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL).
