Finnair A350 successfully conducted first flight at Airbus facility in Toulouse. This is the newest variant of Airbus A350-900 XWB, extra widebody series for the Finnish carrier. The picture shown the A350 XWB while on rotating takeoff on runway, and captured by F.Lancelot of Airbus.
The first flight or also known maiden flight is the final production phase of an aircraft. After being painted and assembled, the Airbus A350-900 XWB will enter ground checks as well as another flight tests till its delivery time to the customer. There are about 19 of Finnair A350 on waiting list order of Airbus.
While, Finnair is the national flag carrier of Finland, they also the largest airlines in the country. Headquartered in Vantaa and has a main hub at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport.
